River Avon

The River Avon is one of the most varied chalk streams in the UK and has one of the most diverse populations of fish, plant and wildlife. The river rises in the Vale of Pewsey as a network of clay streams fed by chalk springs which converge to form the main Avon. We have four separate beats on the Avon, situated four miles upstream of Salisbury in the sporting setting of the Woodford Valley, just down stream from the famous Heale beat.

River Test

The River Test is widely regarded as the most famous chalk stream in the United Kingdom and noted for its excellent flyfishing. It is the high quality game fisheries that have made the River Test justifiably famous. Its chalk water is ideal for salmon and trout and it’s a mecca for dry flyfishing.

River Bourne

Set in the beautiful water meadows of the Bourne Valley approximately 3 miles north of Salisbury, this stretch comprises of challenging shallows and pools with wild brown trout and grayling. Some stocking of brown trout occurs, however the intention is to create a totally 'natural' fishing experience.

Set in the stunning Test Valley, this fishery covers 40 acres and has been described as the best-kept secret in Hampshire. Set in a secluded, tranquil setting it includes four lakes, each with its own unique character. Noted for the quality of its fish, there is a need to preserve its unique ecology. It is a peaceful, scenic place to fish with abundant wildlife.

Stockbridge Springs

This marvellous trout fishery is located just outside of Stockbridge and is fed by the Test. Its clear waters are stocked with high quality rainbows as well as a healthy stock of brownies. The lake can be exclusively rented by the day to cater for all kinds of fishing parties.
